I've noticed that on a QFX5100, on an aggregated interface where a policer is applied to various units, only the first policer is used. This is obviously a problem for many reasons.
I cannot find any reference to such a limitation in the JunOS documents for a QFX5100.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Relevant configuration is as follows:
set interfaces ae2 per-unit-scheduler
set interfaces ae2 flexible-vlan-tagging
set interfaces ae2 encapsulation flexible-ethernet-services
set interfaces ae2 aggregated-ether-options minimum-links 1
set interfaces ae2 aggregated-ether-options lacp active
set interfaces ae2 unit 2003 family ethernet-switching interface-mode trunk
set interfaces ae2 unit 2003 family ethernet-switching vlan members VLAN1
set interfaces ae2 unit 2003 family ethernet-switching filter input FILTER2
set interfaces ae2 unit 2003 family ethernet-switching filter output FILTER2
set interfaces ae2 unit 2312 family ethernet-switching interface-mode trunk
set interfaces ae2 unit 2312 family ethernet-switching vlan members VLAN2
set interfaces ae2 unit 2312 family ethernet-switching filter input FILTER2
set interfaces ae2 unit 2312 family ethernet-switching filter output FILTER2
Policer configuration is:
set firewall family ethernet-switching filter FILTER1 term 1 then policer 100M
set firewall family ethernet-switching filter FILTER2 term 1 then policer 1500M
