This applies to SLAX version 1.0 and higher.

Note: Never, ever, execute these scripts on a production device!!!

Really, don't do it, bad things may happen
. Your router might fall over and kick its electronic feet up. Your cloud network might rain and your services spawn outages!  Not covered by warranty, all the standard disclaimers, and then some!
These are isolated lab networks only, fun resources to show just what can be done in SLAX.

Games that can run on a router!

Feature

For your enjoyment, the following resources provide both SLAX and XML files for a version of the Adventure game and classic Tic-Tac-Toe. Thanks to Curtis Call for providing the link.

Adventure

This is a fully functional 350-point version of the classic Colossal Cave Adventure game, written in SLAX as a Junos OS op script.

The dwarves are there, the dragon is lounging on a rug, the troll is guarding the bridge (and is still scared by the bear). It
should be pretty much how you remember it. I say "pretty much" because there are multiple versions of Adventure floating around, so this version might not have all the rooms or the features that you remember. But, if you are in the mood to play a game on your Junos OS device, then give it a try.

Tic-Tac-Toe

Play a quick game of Tic-Tac-Toe on your Junos OS device against a human or computer opponent.

What Are the Benefits of This Feature?

Some fun, a demonstration of capabilities, and a bit of geeky showing off.

When to Use This Feature?

Use only in a lab or isolated mode, never on a network!
