How can I define multiple port mirroring interfaces on a single chassis and select which traffic is mirrored to each interface on MX Series routers?
Junos OS supports multiple port mirror destinations in MX Series routers. All platforms support multiple source ports (interfaces that need to be mirrored).
In Junos OS Release 9.6R2 and later, if the following conditions are met, an integrated routing and bridging (IRB) packet can be mirrored as a Layer 2 packet:
You can disable this Layer 2 IRB port mirroring using the no-irb-layer-2-copy statement at the bridge-domain or the vpls routing-instance hierarchy level.
