    Hello,

Is it possible to renumber srx interfaces?

For example, when two srx's are configured to work in chassis cluster, for srx 1500, node0 keeps it's interfaces slot numbering convention but node1 has the slot increased to 7.
    So, xe-0/0/16 on node0 becomes xe-7/0/16 on node 1.

Can I change node1 to have slot numbering to be xe-1/0/16 instead of xe-7/0/16?

I did see that Juniper srx automatically makes this change when chassis' are clustered: Understanding SRX Series Chassis Cluster Slot Numbering and Physical Port and Logical Interface Naming

Is there an article or guide I can be pointed to?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

It as per design. You cannot change.

    Thanks
