  • 1.  SRX300 core dump when executing a "show" command

    Posted 08-31-2021 05:49
    Dear Juniper lovers,

We have an issue with a SRX300 which generates core dumps when executing a "show" command.
Also the "grep" process hangs and generates a lot of cpu. Killing the grep process brings the cpu back to normal state.

Junos version : Juniper JunOS 19.4R3-S1.3

I didn't find any related software bug / corrections..

Somebody has encountered this issue and if yes, which action have you done to solve this issue ?

    Hi,
would you mind sharing which show command (only a single one or also variants of it) causes this? What is grep being used for ("show ... | grep ..." for the same command or another context)?
    Regards
    Ulf
