  • 1.  vSRX ver. 20 message Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported

    I trying to provisioning a new instance of vSRX version 20 and when I turn on the VM, the follow message is show:

    "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this plattform".

    Before, I installed the vSRX version 19.2R1.8 in this host with out problem.

    Hi cmunoz, 




    As per my understanding you are observing these "Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this plattform" logs while provising vSRX version 20. I suppose this has to do with VMWare rather than the vSRX that you are trying to provision.

    Hello Cristian,




    The issue seems to be with the  physical CPU does not support EPT.

    Can you just view the discussion in the below community and check if the VMware logs[vmware.log]  match with yours, if yes, I see that the only solution is to replace the CPU with one that has support for EPT.
