I am happy to report that the Juniper Networks SRX family with Junos 12.3X48 have been recertified in the Data Firewall, IDS/IPS and VPN product categories of the US Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Product List (APL) (formerly called the UC APL).
The SRX hardware platforms include the SRX100, SRX110, SRX210, SRX220, SRX240, SRX550, SRX650, SRX1400, SRX3400, SRX3600, SRX5400, SRX5600, and SRX5800.
The US Department of Defense has more than 2 million employees and some very large networks. The SRX family can easily scale to meet these needs. SRX5K devices remain the only DoD Data Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN device to be certified with 100G interfaces.
SRX5K Express Path firewall functionality enables Firewall performance of up to 1 Terabit per second, low latency, and the ability to support elephant flows of 100Gbps and 40Gbps.
