In 1995, while serving in the US Marine Corps, I got my start in technology. I made a radical change from an Infantry Mortarman specialty to Computers and Networks. This was my first ever exposure to working in a technology job. I was immediately interested and fascinated with all the new things I was learning. I discovered a particular curiosity about how networks work; the rest is history. I have remained motivated to continue learning in my career as a network engineer for ~25 years. I also discovered a love for teaching and communicating with others what I have learned, to assist them in their journey to learn also.
I've been happily married for 25 years, and stay busy raising my growing family while enjoying life in Texas. In my personal time, I like to relax while playing my saxophone and staying physically active playing sports.
