  • 1.  Install JunOS to MX960 from loader

    Hi all,
    We have  MX960 with SCBE2 and RE-S-X6-64Gb. JunOS is corrupted and it load only in loader. I read all manuals but didn't find how install soft from loader. EX-series have command "install"​ and I can do it by tftp or USB. There is nothing like it here. 
    Can anybody help and tell how can I do it?

    Hi,

    U need to install using install-media usb. Means it will reformat everything.

    Can you give manual or something like it, please? Unfortunately I don't know how to do it from the loader. Or write steps with commands, I'll try.

    Hi,

    Below is step:

    1.) Please make sure u have empty USB with FAT32 format
    2.) Download the file install-media vmhost from Juniper website
    3.) Make that install-media file to USB as using "Rufus" software. Means u made that USB as bootable.
    4.) Plug in that USB to RE then power-off RE by plug-out RE then plug-in back the RE.
    5.) Just follow what appear in the console after that.
