    Hello,

we know, that in a virtual chassis, when one member is removed or fails, the other member will become the master.
in my case, let's say sw1 and sw2 , sw1 as master and sw2 as member, when sw1 as master is removed or fails automatically sw2 will become the master, and when sw1 is added again, sw1 and sw2 will reboot, this is very annoying if implemented in procution, is it really like this?

    Thank's

I am not sure, but I can't remember having seen this behaviour. At least
when the same unit is replaced. If you have another (new) unit, it may
be different, you'll need to adjust the (preprovisioned) vc
    configuration then.

Hmm, I don't know.. but the unit I replaced was the same unit and without any changes,

the problem was the new unit or the same unit when I put it back in, they would still rebooting

Is the replacement switch confirmed running the same version of Junos as the device still in the cluster?

    yes of course,
Maybe I can explain and be more detailed.
so as i explained before, i have 2 switches which have same version and same configuration, then i configure using virtual chassis to lacp to a router, then i try to unplug one switch to see if virtual chassis is running or not, and it happens That's something I've explained before.
I'm sorry, I'm still early on this, so it's hard for me to explain

    Hi,

Please put no-split detection knob. Please make sure u power off first switch and connect VC link before u power on switch. After that then u can power on.

    Thanks
