We have launched our Software-Defined Secure Networks (SDSN) Phase 1 demonstration environment on Juniper Cloud Labs (JCL) which is available to all Ingenious Champions.

You can access this demonstration environment by navigating to JCL, log in, click the rocket icon, and enter SDSN in the search bar of the JCL Environments Catalog. Or you can click the “Security – Featured” category on the right side of the page. The cloud scale demonstration environment takes about 20-25 minutes to set up.

Our cloud scale demonstration environments allow you to use the JCL portal and the JCL browser-based access tools (RDP, SSH) natively to access the assigned cloud resources, so you don’t need any additional log-ins. As with all of our JCL environments, instructions are available from the environment workspace under the instructions tab or by browsing directly here.

Ingenious Champions can access more information on the Security Demonstrations page within SalesCentral. If you have any questions about this environment, please send an email to JCL-Support@juniper.net.

    More information about JCL

In our first issue of the Juniper Partner Technical Journal last month, we noted that recent additions to JCL include the Build Your Own (BYO) capability and Chaperoned Access. The BYO capability enables users to create their own network topologies and demonstrate their own solutions. We provide a blank canvas on which users can drag and drop desired virtual resources—like creating a drawing. Once the “drawing” is complete, the resources can be reserved. Chaperoned Access enables customers and partners who are not Ingenious Champions to have access to selected resources in JCL.

There are two types of JCL users:

    • JCL-user is a Juniper engineer or an Ingenious Champion partner
    • Guest-user can login to JCL—but only with the help of a JCL user that acts as a chaperone. The chaperone can reserve the JCL resources and let guest users connect to the resources directly from the public Internet, without using the JCL web portal.

Visit the above links to learn how to build your own topology and take full advantage of chaperoned access.
