  • 1.  Can I capture label 0 or 3 in juniper device ?

    I have the following topology

    start-label.PNG

No RR configured. PE-1 peered with PE-2 via iBGP.

    Can I capture label 0 or 3 on PE-1 or PE-2 ?

I did not get label 0 or 3.

    thanks !!

What you mean by capture ? If you want dump packet , so for implicit null (label 3) you will never see this label in packet, because this label can be only announced and never pushed in packet. You can find it in output of "show ldp database" or "show mpls lsp extensive" (in Received RRO section) after last hop. "(Label=3)"

For explicit null (label 0) can be captured in packet if "explicit-null" is configured in protocol mpls. For example:

    thanks a lot !!

I might have looked at the wrong packet. Should I see it in ldp packet in Junos?  I can see it in Cisco.

"his label can be only announced" means it is only announced via ldp ?

This label can be announced by LDP (sample you can see in image you attached) or RSVP
