I know that some might think this thread belongs in the EX switch board but my main example is
about the SRX functionality in that it is capable of certain behavior. Here is my question.
1. Does the EX switch show the same behavior in that it creates inherently static routes in
the system as a whole. Many may not realize this functionality, so here is a description.
When using an SRX on an isp the SRX can create permanent routes with most if not all commands
used in the system, which actually makes permanent changes to electrical services. This is special
about the SRX. Other equipment will only reroute core routes, dns, interface and others. Example
being ASUS wireless routers.
Will the EX switch act like the SRX in this regard? Its a static nature.
