Overview Given a sample packet (i.e. source-address, dst-address, ports, etc) it returns the list of matching policies
2 Comments - Unfortunately the script has 2 big errors which results in missing policies in the output 1) when no ip address is specified only policies with adress of ANY were returned 2 when ip address was specified but not found in any policy one lookup to much was done resulting ín closing of the connection and policies were not retrieved I corrected those errors and the new V2 can be found on GITHUB library/juniper/op/display/policy-test/policy-test-V2.slax https://github.com/amarhold/junoscriptorium/commit/ce6c11dfe7054aee54f3a8d42229e1e248994651 Here output examples: best viewed on terminal screens with > 80 characters/line with best regards Alexander
Answer Interface management over SNMP is based on two tables: ifTable ifXTable (extension of ifTable) Both are described in RFC 1213, Management Information Base for Network Management of TCP/IP-based internets: MIB-II and RFC 2233, The Interfaces Group MIB using SMIv2 . Interfaces can have several layers, depending on the media, and each sublayer is represented by a separate row in the table. The relationship between the higher layer and lower layers is described in the ifStackTable
Given a sample packet, such as source-address, dst-address, and ports, the lookup returns the list of matching policies
