  • 1.  can we skip a version while upgrading EX3400,EX4600 and MX104

    can we upgrade:
    EX3400 from 18.2-R3-S5 to 20.2-R3
    For EX4600 from 17.3-R3 to 20.2-R3
    for MX104 from 17.3-R3 to 19.4-R3.

    You will need to refer to the release notes for the version you want to have as the final install.

    In general you can move 2-3 full Junos versions (the number before the period) also the two digit year of its release.

    But you have to be going from and to an EEOL (extended end of life) version of Junos.  These are the last final dot version (the number right of the period) for that year.  This varies by platform and year.

    The nuance details are in a section of the release notes for your target version.
