    Dear friends,

Currently i have  JNCIS-ER  and JNCIA-ER as active certifications.   And I want to appear for JNCIP-SP . Will i be elibigle directly or do i need to first give JNCIS-SP ???

My Certmanager is showing that i am eligible . but it contradicts with the eligibility criteria mentioned on website.

Service Provider Routing and Switching, Professional (JNCIP-SP)

    Can Anyone confirm it????

    Hello,

The JNCIA and JNCIS-ER make you eligible for the JNCIS-SP.

Do you also hold a JNCIS-M or JNCIS-SP? If so, you are eligible for the JNCIP-SP.

I do Hold JNCIS-M  but it has expired (Inactive status on certmanager) in March 2011... will it fullfill pre-requisite for JNCIP-SP ???

if no.. than can you explain why cert manager is showing me as eligible for JNCIP-SP ?? (Check the snapshot attached in previous post)

    Just to update all,

If your Certmanager is showing any previous certification (which is a pre-requisite for your future ceritifcation) as "INACTIVE" . it can be used for any re-certification or new ceritifications.

However if your cert manager is showing them as "EXPIRED" , they cannot be used to fullfill a pre-requisite.

I have cleared JNCIP-SP in december & recieved its ceritificate as well 🙂

Hope it will clearify all confusions.

    Regards,
