    Hello Community,

I have been working on Juniper devices for past 7 years. I had done JNCIA certification in first year of my job. It has been expire and I am planning to pursue certification path. I am planning on starting over. Can someone guide me on how much time will it require to at least reach professional level certificate?

    Rahul,

I don't know that there is a exact answer to this question. The time required really depends on each individuals experience and knowledge level. I would begin by recertifying your JNCIA in the desired track and review the topics, information, and related courses for the specialist level for the same track. This will give you an idea of the topics you may need to study up on to move to the next level (specialist).

Juniper does offer some free training material through the Open Learning program, which can help you refresh yourself before taking the JNCIA certification. As part of this program you will have the opportunity to earn a discounted voucher to take the exam (75% Off). https://learningportal.juniper.net/juniper/user_activity_info.aspx?id=11478

You can navigate to the different specialist level exams using the following link (located about midway through the page).

Both the SP and DC path start with the same certification.
    JNCIA-Junos

The SP track in Juniper concentrates on MPLS side of networking.  The track is straight forward.
    JNCIS-SP
    JNCIP-SP

The DC track is an extension of the Enterprise one which concentrates more on internal routing for large enterprises.
    JNCIS-ENT
    JNCIP-DC
