I sure can't wait to get the free voucher mentioned in the marketing email. Which certification should I go for?

You can start with JNCIA- Junos, if already certified with associate level you can try Specialist in Enterprise routing & switching or Design Specialist.

I would start with JNCIA-Junos and JNCIA-SEC they both are really good starter certifications. And you'll fall in love with junos really quick

You can make the JNCIA (all track's) free of charge if I'm not wrong, so keep your ticket for the the big S/P ones.

I would start with the free training for the JNCIA. However, I would save the voucher for the specialist or professional exam. Which track? That depends of your interests, but I would explore the devops track

To be honest I'm not sure to choose between JNCIA-SEC or JNCIA-Junos. I want to pursue security tracks but I'm familiar with Cisco products only and don't have any experiences with Juniper

I recommend the JNCIA-Junos, with this exam you can choose a specialist level in three categories (Datacenter, SP, Enterprise).

You can begin by JNCIA with free voucher and you can continue with JNCIS-ENT.

I'm also looking forward to getting certified.

    Taking advantage of the topic.

Can someone explain to me the differences of the free courses: Open Learning: JNCIA-Junos Exam Preparation and Open Learning - Migrating from the Cisco CCNA to the JNCIA-Junos?

My doubt is regarding the content of both trainings.

I would recommend to start with the JNCIA-Junos, then depending on your field, you can go for JNCIS ENT, SEC or SP.
    Good luck.

Same query for me as well.  I am planning on taking the JNCIA-Junos soon and I'm also wondering what other people use to study. Happy to get the free voucher as well.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I'll go for JNCIS-ENT and then for JNCIP-ENT and JNCIP-DC.

The Associate tracks now only have 75% Discount on the certification, provided you score above 70% in the assessment test on 3 attempts.

So indirectly the cost per Associate exam is $50

As someone who was once in the same shoe as you.

I'd suggest you do the following

    1. Take the CCNA to Juniper
    2. Take the JNCIA-Junos
    3. Take the JNCIA-JNCIA-Security

I plan to opt first to the Junos, I have some years of experience working with both Junos and cisco devices but I think is always better to get familiar with the devices and way of working with them, and at the same time be able to prove your knowledge with the certs.

Looking forward to learning about Juniper and getting a free certification. Open to any resources people like to use as my background has not included Juniper until now.

    Hello Vanderlei,

Open Learning: JNCIA-Junos Exam Preparation - Is the JNCIA Exam Certification Prep itself (This is enough to attempt the Junos Exam)

Open Learning - Migrating from the Cisco CCNA to the JNCIA-Junos - Is an add-on for Engineers who are used to the Cisco Way of networking, this guides them on the similarities and differences between Cisco IOS & Junos OS (This is not enough to attempt the Junos Exam)
