  • 1.  VPWS multihoming unsupported?

    from this guide, it says 

    • Multihoming of customer sites to multiple PE devices using the BGP site model of multihoming.

    does that mean FEC129 or Kompella or both?

    tried Kompella and it worked.

    also tried FEC129 VPLS multihoming according to below guide but failover is not working despite connection appears up.

    i tested the Kompella multihoming in vlab where all nodes connect to vswitches thus all interfaces are always up.

    when i shut down one of the multihomed PEs, the CE fails over to the other PE instantly.

    is this normal behavior? how does the CE know not to forward to the down PE when the interface to it is up?
