We've had success (although only for a brief period of a few months) with 21.4R2-S1.4 on ex4300s. However we were forced to upgrade to 21.4R3-S2.4 on ex4600s by a serious bug in 21.4R2 for the EX4600s that consistently causes random AE interfaces to fail to come up after boot, but only on ex4600s. That version seems stable as well, but again, only for about 3 weeks runtime.
I have decided to use that same version (as ex4600) on our new ex4400s and our handful of ex2300s as well. We don't have real runtime on any of those yet to be able to endorse that version on those platforms yet.
BUT... Be advised that our Juniper SE recommended 21.2R3-S2. He stated: "It's widely deployed across EX in my customer base and been very stable". I didn't go with this "recommended" version for the simple reason that the versions I chosen, have an addition year before they go 'end-of-life'.

Subject: Upgrade code - 21.4R3.15 recalled, but is only version available for download
Trying to upgrade EX3400s and QFX5100s. The JTAC-recommended version is 21.4R3.
However, 21.4R3.15 has been recalled. JTAC says to use 21.4R3.16, but .16 is not available for download. (there is a .16 for QFX5100 5e, but we don't have 5e's).
Downloading "QFX 5 Series Switch 21.4R3" yields only the recalled v15. Same for "EX2300(-C) and EX3400 Series 21.4R3".
Is it really possible that the only downloadable code version for 21.4R3 is recalled?! Where is 21.4R3.16 ?
Already have a JTAC case open, but surely someone in the Community has encountered this.
help! thanks.
