    Hello.

    I have a question about MC-LAG option(session-establishment-hold-time).

    * question 1)
    What does "session-establishment-hold-time" mean and how does setting the command change the behavior?

    * question 2)
    I'm curious about the meaning of "Specify the time during which an Inter-Chassis Control Protocol (ICCP) connection must be established after IP route reachability between MC-LAG peers is up. ".

    I'm curious about the meaning of the "IP route reachability between MC-LAG peers is up." to "IP route reachability" part.

    I don't think there is a problem if "IP route reachability" means "forwarding table" has information about "remote mc-lag peer".

    An ICCP connection was not established for the time set by "session-establishment-hold-time" with information "remote mc-lag peer" in "forwarding table", and after troubleshooting, the ICCP connection is established normally.

    session-establishment-hold-time
    Specify the time during which an Inter-Chassis Control Protocol (ICCP) connection must be established after IP route reachability between MC-LAG peers is up. When an MC-LAG peer detects IP route reachability to the MC-LAG peer, it tries to connect to it during the session-establishment-hold-time.

    * question 3)
    What happens if the "ICCP Session" connection fails during the "session-establishment-hold-time" when "forwarding table" has information "remote mc-lag peer"?

    * question 4)
    >>>> <capture> <<<<

    I'm curious about the meaning of the "chassis takes over as the primary at the ICCP session." part of the above phrase.
    I'm also curious about what "the primary" is and if there is a "secondary".
    I'm also curious about what "takes over".

    Getting Started with MC-LAG

    Getting Started with MC-LAG
    Multichassis link aggregation (MC-LAG) enables an MX Series 5G Universal Routing Platform to form a logical LAG interface with two or more other devices. MC-LAG provides additional benefits over traditional LAG in terms of node level redundancy, multihoming support, and a loop-free Layer 2 network without the need to run Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
