  • 1.  Subscriber DHCP relay in different RI

    Hi all,

I've seen an issue and am hoping that someone has either seen it or knows how to resolve it.

I have a subscriber in the global table and the DHCP server in a VRF. I've configured it so that the DORA process completes and I can see the Offer and Accept pass through the BNG.  However the BNG shows no DHCP relay bindings or subscriber information (bar the L2).

In the global "forwarding-options" I've set the forward-only to the RI and in the RI set the forward-only -replies. I can also see the DHCP statistics rising.

    Many thanks.

in mode "forward-only" the MX does not really care about the DHCP bindings, therefore, it doesn't map it.  If you wish to see the "bindings" per say, a show arp will show you what the MAC to IP mapping is.

I wonder if forward-only has anything to do with mofrr.

This is the mx series right?

    Multicast forward only, that is.

But I don't know if mofrr is mx?
