    Hi all,

I've tried the events/RPM method (using the sample of dynamic ISP, i.e. static route preference 5, and a BGP secondary preference 150), and modified it a bit to:

    A: delete routing-options static route 0.0.0.0/0

    Bl  set routing-options static route 0/0 next-hop 172.16.25.1

Since if have two active ISP connections that are both static, it's all controlled by the static def. route....  This is purely a backup to the primary which is typically and at&t ckt...the secondary is a proprietary internet option, and would not be able to function for f/w actions like ipsec tunnels, inbound access, etc.. strictly outound internet .

Then upon a successful ping using RPM of the primary, ditto the above commands to put back static route to 172.16.26.1 ...

This doesn't work, so I know there is another option... anyone with some more savvy than me, could you point me in the right direction via example or link??  TIA !!!!!
