as we know, when using route reflector in 6PE, we need to configure static route in inet6.3 to resolve IPv4-mapped routes.

however, i found that configuring the static route in inet6.0 also works the same.

is this intended?

Actually I didn't realize you were talking about RRs, so I guess they don't have MPLS connectivity with the other routers, right?
