I have note used this feature myself, but the documentation shows that the policer is a supported feature. Note that this would only apply to traffic that is actually passed via this interface. With a bridge traffic within that domain may not use the interface in the path.

Subject: Question about Applying Policer on IRB Interface (MX304)
This message was posted by a user wishing to remain anonymous
Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the MX304 platform.
I'm trying to apply a policer to an IRB interface in order to limit the bandwidth of outbound traffic.
Is it possible to apply a policer directly to the IRB interface on the MX304?
Thanks in advance.
