Hello community members,

I am seeing a recurring issue related to QSFP EEPROM access failures on juniper switch EX4650 -48Y-8C , firmware version 23.4R2-S6.6.  i want to check if others have encountered similar behavior.  after reboot all the QSFP port showing missing , issue solved after physical power reboot. during the normal operation, the device logs repeated QSFP errors such as

Any shared experience or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

We resolved the issue by replacing the swithc under RMA.  since the replacement we have not observed any further QSFP EEPROM access failures or missing QSFP ports after reboot. the new unit has been stable.

Awesome. I ended up contacting JTAC about this and was told to fully power cycle the device. So far, we have not had any issues.
