  • 1.  Palo Alto Firewall lose link after reboot to MX 10003

    Hi guys.

    I have a problem between my Palp Alto an my mx 10003.

    When i boot the Palo Alto, the link on my mx goes down, thats correct.

    When the Palo comes up after a few minutes, the port on my mx comming up for 4 minutes.

    After this time, the interface on my mx goes down.

    When i disable/ enable the interface the port goes up and everything works fine.

    I do not why and i can not find something in the www.

    I may be captain obvious here, but how long are you waiting between the reboot and the activity on the switch?
    There are times where the Palo will come up "just enough" to enable the lower (driver and not much else) level support of the interface before PANOS has actually finished booting. This is especially true if this is an active/standby HA setup.  After the PALO has "finished" booting, you may need to wait as much as 10 minutes for it to "configure" the higher layers of each interface.

    Hi, after a time from ca 10 Minutes, the link to the palo goes up.

    3 Minutes later, the link goes down and stay down
