  • 1.  NG-RE (RE-S-X6-128) boots to Windriver Shell

    Good Evening All,

    We have had a few NG-REs boot to the windriver linux shell and was wondering if there is any way to recover it without using a USB.  Since this a vjunos instance I was thinking it could be restarted using a "virsh create" command.   I haven't been able to find any documentation related to this.

    Either the NG-RE is not inserted in a compatible SCB model (had the case in MX240/480/960), and there's nothing to recover.

    Or the NG-RE has a problem and the only documented way is USB install key.
