  • 1.  Mist AP default VLAN issue

Hi, I created an organization site in Juniper Mist.

Then I created a switch template and assigned it to EX2300-48p model switches. I have AP24 Access Points connected to EX2300 swithces.

APs get the IP address from the block they should get it from which is 172.22.100.0 but they're getting  the IP from wrong VLAN. VLAN must be 1100 and I configured it in APs but yet, they seems to belong in VLAN 1 (default).

Am I missing something? How can I solve this issue, any suggestions?

Is the 172.22.100.52 address you're receiving actually part of VLAN 1?   I'm guessing you plugged the AP in first to a port that was set up as VLAN 1 and then you changed the port setting to a trunk with a different native VLAN so it initially received its IP over VLAN 1 and is now sending its untagged traffic with the wrong IP address.  Try unplugging the AP and then reconnect it to the same port.  The untagged DHCP request should then go over VLAN 1100 and then get outside connectivity to download its config to show in the status display that it's using VLAN 1100.
