    Hi All

    We are experiencing a memory leak in the bbe-smgd process on our BNG (MX204) routers.

    There is no DHCP liveness detection configured, and we have upgraded Junos OS  from version 21.4R3-S5 to 21.4R3-S10.13, but the issue still persists.

    Has anyone else experienced this issue, or can suggest a workaround?

    Hello,

    BNG function has many different options and ways of implementation. The best way for RCA investigation is to open a JTAC case.

    Junos 21.4 although solid but outdated, the current recommended version is 23.4R2-Sx, or 22.4R3-S6 for MS-MPC cards.
