LLDP port number is no displayed when there is description on the remote ports

  • 1.  LLDP port number is no displayed when there is description on the remote ports

    LLDP port number is not displayed when there is description on the remote ports 

    I know this looks trivial but it drives me mad. when a description is added to the far end port , it displays the description and not the port #
    I think I might have fixed in the past but  cannot recall how. 
    I want the port info just to display the port like "xe-0/0/1"  not the description of the the port when there is a description on the far end

     run show lldp neighbors

    set protocols lldp port-id-subtype interface-name
    set protocols lldp port-description-type interface-alias
