Junos Space Network Director

    Hi everyone,

    I'm encountering an issue while trying to discover my EX devices in Junos Space Network Director. I've attempted discovery using both ping and SNMP, but neither method has been successful.

    The error message I receive is: "Device Failed to return System information." According to the Juniper documentation, this message may appear if the switch is too busy to respond to operational commands, and it suggests trying the discovery again. However, in my case, the switch isn't busy at all. Reference: Juniper Documentation on Device Discovery Troubleshooting.

    Does anyone have suggestions on how I might resolve this? 

    Note: The devices in question (EX2300-24P and EX4100-F) are supported by Junos Space, and SNMP is configured.
