    Posted 04-02-2025 12:11

    Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have an SRX320 with Junos: 22.4R2-S2.6 installed.  I am new to the SRX 300 series.   I have been using SRX210s.  I would like to upgrade the SRX 320.  I am looking for a recommendation.  Should I upgrade?  And  to what  stable software level to upgrade?

    All comments are appreciated!

    Regards,

    Quaz

The current recommended software for the SRX320 is Junos 23.4R2-S3.

Also note that when you migrate the configuration there will need to be some change made.

The SRX210 has fe interfaces that become ge on the SRX320.

And the SRX210 vlan interface become irb with the SRX310

This are part of the changes with Enhance Layer 2 Services (ELS) that changed between the 200 to 300 series.  Fuller details are here in the documentation.
