A customer is currently using a Cisco SD-WAN solution that uses a router on a stick configuration, whereby the overlay is established to the WAN interface from the branch office. The same WAN interface is used as the underlay to connect to the local firewall and ultimately to the server farm . The Cisco SD-WAN solution also allows the server farm to connect to the WAN interface underlay and then use the same interface to create the WAN overlay to the branch office.
The customer is in the process of trialling Juniper SSR technology. The branch SSR's are able to connect to the hub SSR's and access to the server farm via the firewall. However, the return path isn't working. The customer doesn't have spare interfaces it the data centre to support the traditional LAN and WAN configuration.
Based on this limitation, is it possible to configure the Hub SSR routers to support the return configuration over the same WAN interface, which is used for the overlay and underlay?
