Hello Team,

I am trying to establish end to end connectivity between juniper mist and mist edge cloud. Currently receiving the highlighted remarks as mentioned in the below snap shot.

Can some one help out on this, how it will be resolved.

It seems like the tunnel and wlan configurations are missing in here.

Hello everyone,

I've been following this discussion and wanted to check if anyone was able to resolve this issue.

I reviewed the documentation shared in this thread, however it appears to be focused on physical Mist Edge appliances.
In my case, I'm deploying a Mist Edge Virtual Appliance (VM), and I'm facing the same behavior:

• Mist Edge is connected and registered

• Cluster is created

• Tunnel status remains orange

• No active tunnel connections from APs

Could you please confirm:

• Was this issue resolved?

• If yes, what was the solution or missing step?

• Was there any difference in tunnel creation or activation between physical Mist Edge and VM-based Mist Edge?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding VM-specific requirements that may not be clearly cove

Hi Saad,

You have onboarded the Mist Edge at the ORG level and it is showing connected to the cloud but it is not creating any L2TP tunnels with the APs. Please make sure :
1. You have created a cluster and Tunnel from the left-side "Mist Edge" pane

2. Create a WLAN and add the mist edge under "Custom Forwarding" to "ORG Mist Edge" and select the Tunnel you created above.

3. Add the WLAN to a site and then add APs to that site.
