You can change root password by using the console and then shell to os command structure. You need to either find the document online, ask an ambassador, or ask juniper tech support. I used to know the url, but not anymore.

I'm tryin to change root password from boot -s && recovery mood cause we forgot the password ,but it's not commit because the HA Clustering is unable , I need to delete HA Clustering HA and change the root password , I tried to format the device and boot another version by using USB and TFTP server but in the two ways it shows invalid URL .
i tried the command " install --format tftp:\\junos-srxsme-12.1X46-D65.4-domestic.tgz " to boot from tftp server but it shows error .
