I'm tryin to change root password from boot -s && recovery mood cause we forgot the password ,but it's not commit because the HA Clustering is unable , I need to delete  HA Clustering HA  and change the root password , I tried to format the device and boot another version by using USB and TFTP server but in the two ways it shows invalid URL .

i tried the command  " install --format tftp:\\junos-srxsme-12.1X46-D65.4-domestic.tgz " to boot from tftp server but it shows error .

The attached Image shows the screenshot of the error.

    Don't include the --format parameter:

You can change root password by using the console and then shell to os command structure. You need to either find the document online, ask an ambassador, or ask juniper tech support. I used to know the url, but not anymore.

Do you have a login at all to the box? If that user has the right permissions, you can set a new root password in the config. If you save the old password hash (the output of "show system root-authentication | display set"), you can even restore the old, unknown, password when you're done.
