Why Connect to JSI
Juniper Support Insights (JSI) extends support automation & lifecycle management to the entire Juniper portfolio. Connecting your account and devices to JSI:
- Reduces the risks of issues & problems
- Streamlines operational planning
- Correlates device data with Juniper-specific knowledge
- Improves inventory management
- Reduces effort & time in troubleshooting
How to Connect
You can deploy JSI via a simple four-step process:
- Connect your account via one of three pathways:
- Mist
- J- Cloud
- Lightweight Collector (LWC) device via Juniper Support Portal
- Onboarding a set of Junos devices to JSI to initiate data collection
- Viewing notifications about device onboarding and data collection
- Viewing operational dashboards and reports
Each pathway was demoed and discussed in the Jumpstart JSI Ask the Expert session. You can watch a recording of the session if you missed it. Note if you have issues accessing the recording please log into the community.
What Privacy and Security Measures are in Place
JSI focuses on network device data rather than individuals' personal data and collects the smallest set of data elements necessary for the support process and service experience. Read the Juniper Support Insights Security and Privacy Overview to find a detailed overview of relevant policies.
Who has Access to JSI
JSI is available to anyone with an active Juniper Care Service contract, no matter the tier/level. You can verify if you have an active Juniper Care Services contract via the Serial Number Entitlement (SNE) tool. If you do not have an active JCS contract please, contact your Juniper Account Team.
