Start working on my JNCIA-SEC,    Anybody have any study tips, or suggested resources they used for this?

Looking at exam topics and searching knowledge for what i can find on topics covered by the exam.   Are the older O'Reilly  books still good for covering traffic flows, zones and  policies?

    Hello,

You should leverage Juniper learning portal.

You get a voucher and free training material.

Also be sure to take the practice exam and the voucher assessment exam.

I took it recently, so if you need pointers for the process don't hesitate to contact me.

    Cheers

    Hi Mohamed,

How long did you study for before taking the exam?

    Regards,

3 weeks but I have 17 years experience with Cisco and 2 x CCNPs

The A certifications from Juniper are straightforward and pretty easy if you have previous knowledge.

A = very general knowledge + some few Juniper specific info

Keep in mind that unlike Cisco, juniper doesn't use proprietary protocols, so it's easier if you have above average knowledge.

If you are junior, you probably will need to give it 3-6 months so that it sinks in

The training provided by Juniper gives you everything you need to know to sit the exam ; watch the videos 2-3 times and you should be OK
