Can someone help me understand why I am receiving output drops? All I am finding is mention of

Number of packets dropped by the input queue of the I/O Manager ASIC. If the interface is saturated, this number increments once for every packet that is dropped by the ASIC's RED mechanism.

but nothing that shows how to fix it. This is a trunk port to an ESXi host with a regular virtual switch. The 2 ports into the host are not aggregated.
