    am trying to configure GRE tunnel on user logical system on SRX 5800  ,GRE interface is up but i cannot ping the remote end .
    Solution is GRE over IPsec .IPsec is up.

    What does the routing table in the logical system on both sides look like?

    We need to confirm that the ip address of the gre interface is pointed into the ipsec tunnel on each side and thus reachable to each other for the gre tunnel to come up.
