Hello Christian,
Thanks for your sharing your erudite. I open a case with jtac ask to share the old files and to share the exact upgrade path. They suggested me to upgrade directly to 21.4R3-Sx on EX4300
Pardon me, but now the question arise on how end customer should proceed in future upgrade suggestions.

While you might not have seen issues (yet) it's not supported to my knowledge to make such huge jumps - the sideeffects can even occur months after the upgrade (been there, done that). Never go against the official upgrade recommendation to avoid outages and errors that seem „unexplainable". The best way would be a fresh install to be on the safe side

Hello Raise,
I have recently upgraded junos from 14 to 21.4R3-S8 directly on EX4300-32F. I did not see any issue.

Hello everyone,
I am currently running Junos 14.1X53 on my devices and looking to upgrade to Junos 20.4R3. I wanted to confirm whether I can perform this upgrade without needing to intermediate through any other Junos release versions.
Has anyone here gone through this path or can share any insight or recommendations ?
Thank you !
