Not sure if this belongs here or in switching but we have a large number of EX4300-48MP switches that we monitor with Junos Space. The single switches report properly but when they are in a stack 95 percent of the time they will not report properly. We typically see the below when we even try to view the device config. However, every once in awhile we will see a stack that does respond properly. For example, I had a switch in a stack that was not reporting correctly fail and when I put the replacement switch in the stack it started working, Looking at the info from the switches they are all at the same hardware revision just different production dates in that case. All of the ones in our initial lot are from the same production lot it seems as the serial numbers are within maybe 100 of each other. We have opened a Case with JTAC and it has been ongoing for almost a year with no resolution in site and it does not appear to be related to the JUNOS version installed in the switches as I even have tried the latest 24.2 version and no change. The big problem with this is if a member switch fails in a stack Junos Space does not report the failure and that switch still shows green in the system. The only time it will show a failure with a stack is if it is the master that failed.
I am hoping that someone else has seen this behavior and may have some ideas
