Subject: EVPN-MPLS routing-interface vs l3-interface
As per this doc, ACX710 & ACX5448 use the ELS config mode for L2 features.

Just to keep this a bit more productive.
Is there any other document (apart of PR) that could describe this in details?
Or any explanation why the config is different for those platforms (ACX710/ACX5448)

Subject: EVPN-MPLS routing-interface vs l3-interface
Hi All,
I need a bit of support on clarification.
I have ACX710 and MX and it looks the following configuration differs for those platforms - but I can not find a proper documentation for this.
I am trying to configure a simple EVPN instance with an IRB interface on the above platform.
I noted that the IRB (as L3 interface) has a different configuratoin that binds it.
ACX710# show routing-instances TT
instance-type evpn;
protocols {
evpn;
}
vlan-id 100;
routing-interface irb.100;
l3-interface irb.100;
As you can see above, I have 2x types of binding:
routing-interface - works for MX. Not works on ACX710
l3-interface - works on ACX710
Can somebody help me out by directing to a documentation that can explains this in more details.
BR,
Andrei
