  • 1.  EVPN-MPLS dual home without using ESI-LAG?

    Posted 12-06-2024 11:16

    Hi all / Expert,

May i know whether someone here can share url or config how to do EVPN-MPLS dual-home without using ESI-LAG? All the doc that i found is using ESI-LAG. The reason why i'm cannot use ESI-LAG because the CE not support LACP. In other word i want EVPN-MPLS look like VPLS dual home style active-passive.

    Thanks

    It complicated...

    EVPN Multihoming Designated Forwarder Election

...but seems like the VTEP with the lowest lo0 IP address wins.

    Hi,

If we want do manually set active-standby we just hard coded "df-election-type preference value" only right? Means the higer value is active or lowest is active?

    Thanks and appreciate any feedback
