I seen that as well, but that is not the case this time.

Subject: Dynamic Port Config not always working
I've had this issue (with Mist APs) before... However, it was because I had used upper-case letters (A-F) in DPC configurations for the MACs and/or LLDP Chassis IDs, instead of lower-case (a-f). These settings are case-sensitive.

Has no one else seen this symptom?

Subject: Dynamic Port Config not always working
I have noticed this with Mist APs and with Extron audio/visual devices. The mac address is shown correctly in the ether-switching table on the switch, but the port never converts to the port profile it is set for. The mac address pattern is correct for the vendor with the first 6 characters of the mac address as the trigger. I have tried bouncing the port. I have tried clearing the ether-switching table. I have verified that the profile it currently is set for has the check box for enabling Dynamic port config.
In the past, the message log would show the event and the dpc logic taking place when a port came up. It no longer does. I suspect that was removed a firmware version or two ago.
Has anyone else run into this and is there a fix?
