Your system is showing the normal state for auto-snapshot. The state is referencing how the snapshot is currently in use. Disabled means there has been no activity and the snapshot was not used in the last reboot.
The other possible states are in progress or complete which indicate the state of application of the snapshot to the primary partition when used in the last reboot.
Details are here.

Subject: Auto-snapshot configured, but not Enabled
I have configured the 'auto-snapshot' feature on my SRX and EX devices, however it is showing as 'Disabled', as below. How can I enable it? There appears to be no relevant set command and the available Juniper documentation is customarily lacking.
>show system auto-snapshot Auto-snapshot Configuration: EnabledAuto-snapshot State: Disabled
