  • 1.  40 km & 80 km SFP Optical Transceiver for SRX345

    Hi,

    Our customer need to connect an EX4100F-24 Switch to several SRX345 Router over a fiber optical link. The distance of the fiber optic cable are 40km and 80km. 

    Using the Hardware Compatibility Tool, I found that the EX-SFP-1GE-LX40K & EX-SFP-GE80KCW1550 are compatible with EX4100F-24 but it is not available on the SRX345 hardware matrix.

    1. Can I use EX-SFP-1GE-LX40K & EX-SFP-GE80KCW1550 SFP XCVR with the SRX345 Router ?
    2. If EX-SFP-1GE-LX40K & EX-SFP-GE80KCW1550 SFP XCVR are not supported on the SRX345 Router, what are the correct SFP part number to support 40km & 80km distance ?

    Hello Muliawan,

    Juniper common optic  SFP-1G-LH-C is officially supported on both platforms, SRX345 and EX4100F. It is a 1G 70 km optic with a Receiver input power minimum of - 24 dBm. You can find the datasheet of this SFP here:
