Yes. A Junos Space fabric can contain both JA1500 and JA2500 Junos Space Appliances, provided all the nodes are installed with the same version of Junos Space Network Management Platform and, if applicable, Junos Space applications.
NOTE: Junos Space Platform Release 17.1 and later do not support JA1500 devices.
We recommend that you configure the JA2500 appliance as the primary VIP node because the JA2500 appliance has better hardware specifications than the JA1500 appliance.
