    Hello everyone,
    I'm newbie here. I have a problem/question.

    We have a ex2300-48 switch.
The system boots in more than 5 minutes. Is there a solution to this problem or is this normal?

    Firmware version: 18.2R3-S8.5

    Thank you for your help.

    Thank you for your answer.

I just want to ask one more question for this.

Is this for all junos based devices or just for EX2300?

If is all devices like this that I think is one of the worst boot up time between network device's.

This is true for all Junos devices.  It is related to the way the operating system is setup on the original free BSD kernel.

There is a slight improvement on devices running KVM and the Junos VM version.

And the newer Junos EVO is container based and much faster.
