This is a legacy community with limited Juniper monitoring.

  • 1.  ISG2000 HA Pre-requisites

    HW and SW have to match on both nodes, but does that include boot loader code etc..

    There is also the question of licensing, must that also match for HA to come UP successfully.

    Kindly share any useful documents or whitepapers on ScreenOS HA

    I don't think you need to match the bootloader but ScreenOS version should be same.  Please find the below KB for more details-

    It's highly recommended to have up to date bootloaders, especially if IDP is involved.  As far as licenses, yes, updated licenses for each device is required.  Otherwise, when a failover occurs, you will miss some functionality that the license gave you on the active node.  It won't be a problem for HA to come up, but it will be a big problem when you do a failover.
